UPCOMING EVENTS
- Yearbooks are on sale for $33.00 (Only a few left)
- May 2nd- MCE Night of the Arts- 6:30-8:30 Every child will have artwork on display, Chick Fila will be serving dinner, and chorale will be performing. This evening is sure to be fun.
- May 3rd- Career Day at MCE
- May 16th- Third Grade Awards Program- your child will be receiving an inviation next week if they will be recognized in the awards program.
REMINDERS
- Dress Code-Please remember the MCE dress code as the weather gets warm.
- Box Tops- please help our school earn money by collecting box tops. Please make sure the expiration date has not been cut off or we can't us it and the box tops are taped or glued on the box top paper.
- Transportation- if your child's transportation changes, please send the teacher a note.
- Absence- if your child is absent, please send in a note stating why they are absent.
- Ice Cream- is $1.00 and bought during lunch
- P.E.- Please make sure on the day your child goes to P.E. with Coach Mobley that he or she wear tennis shoes and appropriate clothing.
- Homework- Please make sure your child is doing their homework and keeping up with when it is due.
WHAT WE ARE LEARNING THIS WEEK
Reading- We are reading the story "The Science Fair Project". There will be a reading and spelling test this Friday.
Math- Division
Keep studying all the multiplication tables. It is essential that your child learn them.
Science- Review
Social Studies- Georgia Studies Newspaper- check weekly newsletter to see what your child is learning about.
