| Why be a part of HCCMS PTA? | | | The middle school years are a major transition period for our students. Support from parents through the PTA makes a HUGE difference to our students and their teachers. | | | Please join - PTA needs your support. PTA ANNOUNCEMENTS | | Opportunities to Participate in PTA | | | PTA is flexible and allows each person to be a part of the group. You can choose how active you will be; whether it's once a week, once a month, or once a year. The are many opportunities to participate. Here are a few: | | | Work in the school store. Help in the media center. Assist teacher teams. Help with fundraisers. Donate monthly birthday cupcakes. Assist with Art contests. Put together snacks during CRCT testing. | | Membership | | | All Parents, Teachers, Students, and Staff are urged to join PTA. Membership is $5.00. Over half of the membership dues goes to the state and national PTA to support the largest group in the United States. | | | | | The largest focus for this year within the Nation PTA organizations will be to set up additional health and eating programs to deter obesity and eating disorders. | | Fundraising | | | FALL Fundraiser: HCCMS PTA kicked off our QSP magazine fundraiser in August. This has been a very successful fundraiser for us over the past years. Even though all of the orders, prizes, and FUN have passed; anyone can still order magazines online. It's EASY!
