The Georgia Criterion-Referenced Competency Test (CRCT) will be administered in the Spring. The tests will be in Reading, Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.

Grade Level Study Guides Below

All 8th grade students must pass the CRCT in order to be promoted to the 9th grade .

Here are some suggestions to help you do your best on the tests:

  • Be sure that you attend school on the days of testing and arrive on time.
  • Be sure that you get a good night's sleep the night before testing.
  • Please have your parents avoid scheduling any appointments that would require you to check-out during the testing time.
  • Eat a nutritional breakfast on the morning of testing or arrive at school early enough to have breakfast in the cafeteria.
  • Have confidence in your ability to do your best.
  • Do not worry about the test-just do your best.

Students are not permitted to use or bring into the testing environment any electronic device that could allow students access to information (e.g., cell phone, PDA, electronic recording or playback device, etc.)  Such items brought into the testing environment will be collected by the examiner prior to testing and returned only after students have turned in all testing.
