Park Elementary held their annual Open House/PTA/Title I meeting on September 13^th.  Attendance was extremely high this year.  Attendees were treated to popcorn and punch.  Parents and students were greeted by the administration and faculty.  Park Elementary Principal, Mrs. Janice Owens provided an informative presentation for the parents regarding Title I and how to help their student “earn their stripes” this school year.  Harris County Superintendant, Dr. Craig Dowling was also in attendance. Dr. Dowling helped the PTA by drawing for the raffle.   After the meeting, parents and students visited classrooms where students were able to show off their achievements thus far.   It was a great night at Park, and we are looking forward to our next event, Fall Festival to be held on September 30^th from 5:30PM to 8:00PM.  The Fall Festival is open to the community, we are inviting everyone to come for an evening of fall fun to include games, rides and carnival food!
