The new Parent Portal is now available through the District's website.  This portal, part of the System's new Student Information System Infinite Campus, allows parents and guardians to monitor their children's academic progress. This portal is replacing the Parent Connect system.

Using the internet, parents will be able to log-in to view grades, assignments, schedules, and other important academic information.  Parents must visit any one of their children's schools to sign up for the Parent Portal.  Parents who request an account will be given an account activation code which will enable parents/guardians to view all of your children's information from one login. Therefore, for security reasons, it is necessary for you to appear in person with a Picture ID in order to be issued an activation code and instructions for accessing the system.

Attention Staff: If you are trying to log onto the parent portal using the GUID provided by your student's school, and the portal tells you the GUID has already been used, it is because you are only in the system one time as both an employee AND as a parent. Your user name and password you use for work will log you in to the parent portal.

A: Parents and guardians of current Harris County students can access the portal. Contact your child's school for more information.

Q: I have a Parent Connect Account, do I need to create a Parent Portal Account?
A: THe Parent Portal has replaced Parent Connect within the District, so all parents and gaurdians will need to create a Parent Portal account to monitor their children's progrss.

Q: How do I create a user account so I can use the Parent Portal?
A: Your child's school will provide you with a Parent Portal ID. By using this ID and following the instructions in the Parent Portal User Setup Guide you can setup your own account for the Parent Portal.

Q: What kind of software or computer is needed to use the Parent Portal?
A:  Any computer with internet access  (Macintosh or Windows).

Adobe Acrobat Reader
 Internet connection - 56k modem speed or higher is recommended.
