Dear Parents and Students:
Welcome to the Creekside School website, and thank you for visiting! We hope that our website gives you a small glimpse into our school and into our programs. As we open our 2011 school year in this our third year, we have to first stop and celebrate the achievement and success of our students and teachers! Our recent test scores showed great accomplishments in fifth-grade where reading resulted in over 97% of the students passing the GA CRCT. Similarly, fifth-grade mathematics resulted in over 98% of the students meeting or exceeding. Equally impressive also were our sixth-grade scores in math and science where over 82% of our students meet or exceeded. What a great year we had thanks largely to your support! As we continue to prepare for our third year, we are equally excited about a number of new programs which we will be offering for our middle-level learners. For 2011-2012 Creekside will offer a number of enhanced opportunities for reading, math, and study skills through our extended learning time courses. This will allow us to bring research-based activities to students in order for them to be both career and college ready. We would like to share more of our new programs with you during our Sneak-A-Peek on August 2nd (5:30-7:00pm). Consider also joining our PTA and attending our upcoming Open House which will be held on August 25th (6:30-7:30pm).
